SAT DEC 6, 2008: BERKELEY, CA - 25TH ANNUAL PEACEMAS '08
at the home of Hali Hammer (1609 Woolsey, Berkeley, 94703) starting at 4pm, potluck to
be held afterwards. The theme is "Socially responsible songs for the
holiday season." Hali is usually accompanied by her partner,
Randy Berge, and by harmonica virtuoso Paul Herzoff. Eric's
will be accompanied by classical guitarist, Gordon Rowland. Plenty of CDs and several of the original "Peacemas" cassettes and
maybe some other rare and hard-to-find music will be available, as well as gift-handy
Gen-U-Wine Guitar Slides at the Peacemas boutique. The first Peacemas was held in 1984, the
same year as Eric's cassette album of the same name. A number of years
saw dual Peacemases in the Bay Area and Sacramento, where it drew
crowds of up to 200, and led to Eric Park being nominated for a "Sammy"
(Sacramento Area Music Award) as Best Folk Musician of the Year, 1994.
Entry is a paltry $7 (no one turned away for lack of funds) to $1,000,000, sliding scale. More info: call Eric at 415-665-1941, email Eric, or email Hali Hammer. --------------------------------- Eric Park has played at various fundraisers for issues dear to
